The list of new movies showing this week at Silverbird cinemas Abuja includes two Nollywood movies, one Hollywood movie, and one Bollywood movie.

Alter Ego

Alter Ego takes a dive into the story of a lawyer who specializes in defending less privileged sexually abused victims. She somewhat takes her cases personal and uses unconventional methods to see that sex offenders and molesters are punished even if it means going the extra mile out of the court.
Her character, choices, and decisions throughout the movie are influenced by the experiences she had as a kid growing up. At a young age, she was sexually abused by her teacher which in turn leaves her battling with some uncontrollable sexual urges throughout her life.
With her past still hunting her, she literally sleeps with every man who crosses her path. She ends up getting in bed with her employees, security guard, and even her brother -in-law. She finally meets Timothy, a billionaire philanthropist who adds some spice to the plot.

Omotola

The role of the lawyer is played by Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. Though Omotola hasn’t been in the movie scene for close to 3 years now, the role was played so well by her; you would believe everything going on in this movie is real. Omotola might have been out o the game for a while now, but there is no doubt this role was actually made for her.
