The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, preferred seven-count criminal charge against detained National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh.
Metuh and his firm, Destra Investment Limited, were charged before the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court over alleged N400 million fraud.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Nigige, on Thursday said lazy youths will not get the N5,000 stipend promised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
Ngige in a chat with newsmen at the secretariat of the APC in Abuja, said “We won’t pay N5,000 for people to be indolent. No country in the world would pay people to go home and sleep and collect cash,” he said.

The group made the threat in a communique after its national executive officers’ meeting, at MASSOB headquarters, Okwe Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State.

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has been named the English Premier League player for December after he scored five goals for Watford during the period.
His manager at Watford, Quique Sanchez Flores, was also voted the top manager for the month, africanFootball.com reports.
Ighalo scored in a 2-0 win over Norwich City. He was the match winner at Sunderland, before he netted a brace in a big win over Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved an investigation into the theft of the 219 gIrls from Government Secondary in Chibok, Borno State.

According to sources at the club, in the early hours of today Jan. 15th, Dammy Krane, who called Wizkid out on social media a few days ago for allegedly stealing his slangs and lyrics, was attacked by the singer at Obafemi Martin’s All Black party at Quilox night club a fight which got Dammy Krane injured.
